With nearly ten years at Taziker, he is currently undertaking complex scaffolding requirements at Huddersfield Railway Station as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade project. Overseeing a team of more than 30 workers on site, Carl has successfully implemented specialised designs, setting up scaffolding on both sides of the track ahead of schedule.
In September 2024, Carl received the esteemed title of 'Employee of the Period' for the Transpennine Route Upgrade alliance. Recognised as an essential team member, he took the initiative to organise emergency evacuation training for lead paint grit blasting, ensuring that both Taziker scaffolders and BAM engineers were well-prepared. Additionally, he arranged a mock evacuation drill with the West Yorkshire Fire Brigade, showcasing his dedication to safety and proactive leadership."

Over the past year he has spread his wings and is now working on many prestigious heritage and specialist commercial sites to name a few: Sandringham estate, Sizewell C and the Ipswich Museum.
He has dedicated himself tirelessly to his business and employees and is now driving forward to become a large national company - Investing in his team is second nature now having 5 apprentices on payroll at all times and a highly trained skilled team. The future is bright, the future is yellow and blue!"

Reason for Nomination: "I would like to take this opportunity to nominate alistair, he has worked in the industry for a number of years and goes above and beyond to support all delegates coming through the doors at the training centre, from cots to advanced, bsi and more. He shares his passion and knowledge for the industry to encourage future generations to continue in the business. the comments from delegates show how much he supports them are incredible. He doesn't just work in the centre this continues at weekends supporting delegates with nvq going to visit them at work, teams calls and just generally checking in all the time to see how they are. He in my opinion is part of the reason why the industry is still thriving because he encourages and engages delegates of all ages."
